The Railing Plateau is named after the two forts – as Rai from Raigad Fort and Ling from Lingana Fort. You can enjoy some impressive views of these historic forts from the plateau.
The trek to the Railing Plateau is relatively easy and can be completed by people with basic fitness level. The trail is well-maintained and mostly flat, making it a great option for families with children or those new to trekking.💫
As you reach the plateau, you’ll be greeted with a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and valleys bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun. 🌄

•11.59 am- Reporting at Deccan Gymkhana bus stop
•04:00 pm - Reach base village Mohari after a tea and snacks break
•04:30 pm - Start the hike after a small briefing
•06:15 pm - Reach the Railing Plateau and enjoy the beautiful view of sunset
•07:00 pm -Start return hike
•08:30 pm - Reach base village
•09:30 pm - Have Dinner in Velhe
•11:59 pm - Back to Pune (Deccan)
